June 30th
Off to Ely today yet another lovely day and the judging took place outside which was a lovely change after all the bad weather lately. Hattie won her class and was again Reserve best of breed and Polly was 2nd in her class. We've had a good week with places every time. Now a quiet few weeks as the girls have seasons looming.

June 26th
We made the trip to the Royal Norfolk show. It was a lovely day and the show is enormous. Unfortunately we were sent to the wrong car park so had a 1/2 hour walk to the dog show. Hattie was 2nd in her class and Polly won open and was Reserve Best of breed, ger trn to shine today.

June 23rd
A trip to Maidstone today for the Whistable show. Not a great entry but Hattie won her class and was BOB and Polly came 2nd in Open and 4th in a large AV gundog class.

June 16th
We missed the SWECA show today but Casper flew our flag by winning BPIB and was 2nd in the adult group and won the puppy group. What a clever boy

May 31st
An early start to miss the rush hour on the M25 to go to Newbury for Southern Counties Champ Show. For once the weather was good. Hattie was in Post Grad and came third which means she has qualified for Crufts next year which is brilliant news and Polly once again came 4th in Open so all in all it was a good day. Once again Casper was judged best puppy in breed so a real star in the making I think. It was really nice to see Little Dorrit Caspers sister, Polly's daughter at her 1st champ show and she showed her liitle self off really well. No place for her this time but I feel sure it won't be long.

May 18th
Just a short hop to Billericay today for Wickford and Basilidon Open show. unfortunately Polly & Hattie were the only 2 springers there so Hattie was Best of Breed and Polly was Reserve. Meanwhile up in Scotland, Casper, Meadowdale Cassapple Manhattan from Polly's litter last year attended his first show and what a debut, First Minor puppy dog, Best Puppy Dog and then Best Puppy in Breed. What a start we are so proud of him.

April 26th

Another long journey today for the WELKS Championship Show at Malvern. Its a lovely venue if the weather is good and although it was pouring with rain when we left the sun was shining when we arrived. unfortunately there was a heavy hailstorm half way through the judging so we ended up inside after all. Nothing for Hattie today but Polly was a very creditable 4th out of seven in the open class. It was a very long day but worth it.

April 21st

Today is the ESSC of Wales Champ show so once again a long journey for the girls and me, not a bad one though as the M25 behaved itself for once. A lovely show with Bob Jackson of the Mompesson Kennels judging. Hattie was 2nd in Special beginners and Polly was 4th in open.

April 17th

Off to Kempton Racecourse today for the Windsor Gundog Open Show. Both girls were entered and Baxter came along for the ride, we had a very good day as Hattie came 2nd out of 7 in Post Grad and Polly won the open class of 6 so I was really pleased with both of them and then Hattie was in the Special Beginners class and was placed 3rd in a class of 15. A really good day and although the journey there was not good we had a great drive home.

April 14th

It was off to Leicester today for the parent club Champ Show. Both Polly and Hattie were in 2 classes, Polly came 4th in both hers and Hattie was unplaced in one and first in the other. It was a nice day catching up with friends.

April 13th

All three dogs were due to have their regular eye tests today so we went to a clinic in Maidstone and I'm really pleased to say all three passed as clear.
