Our local ringcraft match tonight. Hattie won Reserve besf in match and Best puppy in match so was thrilled with that

Took Polly to our local ringcraft match as a treat after Saturday and she won Best in Match. What a star

Feb 20th
Hattie's first champ show today. A really early start as it was the SESSS club Champ show and I had to be there for 7.30. It was a dreadful day very wet and muddy. Hattie was a star coming 2nd in minor puppy bitch and 3rd in puppy. Despite my misgivings she behaved beautifully managing just about all her movement with all 4 paws on the ground. She has now qualified for Crufts next year which is great and means we can just enjoy the shows this summer. Unfortunately I was poorly and had to leave before I could show Polly so she had a boring day in the car all spruced up for nothing. Never mind better luck next time.

Maidenhead Show today under Jo Cunliffe unfortunately Hattie is now in season so couldn't show her but Polly was really good and getting back to her pre puppy happiness so was very pleased with her.

Feb 12th
Off to Slough for the Thames Valley show today. Only took Polly and Hattie and judging was outside, a first for Hattie who actually managed to stand still for the judge to go over her but did her usual springer bounce round the ring came 3rd but the judge thought she was a promising puppy which was nice to hear.

Took all three dogs to the East Kent Show at Maidstone. A very well suppported show as there is prize money. Have never had 3 dogs to show before and its hard work but good fun. Hattie still had problems keeping her feet on the ground but I was pleased she got a VHC in a large class as she was the youngest and it was a junior class as there was no puppy class. The other two both got 3rds so we got some money as well.A lovely day out meeting up with our friends.

Jan 30th

At last the big day Hattie's first show. We went to Reading for the Henley show under breed specialist Maureen Read. Both Polly amd Hattie got a third and Hattie loved it so much she couldn't keep her feet on the ground so we jumped round the ring. BOB was Heulyn Flambeau who is Polly's dad and Hattie's grandad so it was lovely to see him doing so well

Jan 23rd

Off to Stafford for the first Champ show of the year. only took Polly and she behaved impecably she's still a bit off her top game but its only 6 months since she had her pups so can't expect too much. We didn't get placed but she's now up with the big girls in limit so will take a while.

Jan 15th

Got to the show and had a good time. Polly was ok and very happy to be showing again. Hattie went for a walk round the car park and seemed to take all the dogs and noise in her stride. Just have to see how she gets on at her first show on 30th jan.

Jan 10th

Well hoping to get to the show on Saturday but have got lots of trimming to do as Baxter's not been shown since April last year and is a very hairy bear. Much bathing to be done.

Jan 1st
Yet another missed show as Polly is still not right. Just hoping its nothing more serious than a bug and hormones. Next attempt at showing is 15 Jan so fingers crossed.
