The girls and I went to Godmanchester today to Herts & Essex Border Open Show. We had an incredably long wait for our classes but it was worth it as Hattie came second in Graduate and Polly won her open class.

The day has arrived at last, the highlight of the show season, Crufts. Although I had entered Hattie I didnt take her as she is still not back to great shape after her litter. I still went and had a very enjoyable day. It was lovely to see Casper get VHC in a huge Post Graduate class and to see Dorrit again who is looking more like her mum every time I see her and she did very well in her class. The crowning moment was Chaos getting his third CC which makes him a Show Champion and also getting Best of Breed.

Took the girls to Folkstone show today. Just a short trip to Maidstone, It was Hatties first show since the puppies and she hadnt forgotten what to do which was a bonus and it was lovely to meet up with friends again. Hattie was first in her class and Polly was third.

Went to Maidstone to a show today and we were due to be judged outside, 4th in the ring and by the time we got in the ring it was pouring with rain and blowing a gale. Never the less we soldiered on and Polly got a second and RBOB behind her son Casper who was also placed in the group which means he has now achieved his Show Certificate of Merit which is a fantastic achievement as he is still only 17 months old.

At last we got to a show. it seems ages since we managed to get out. Polly and I went to Slough for Bucks Open Show. It was quite a good entry and Polly was 3rd in Open and 2nd in the AV gundog class. It was a lovely sunny day which was lucky as we were judged outside. It was really good to meet up with friends again. Polly's son Casper did us proud again be getting BOB and then Group 2.

Well thats all the puppies gone to their new homes. Although they have all got lovely homes at the moment I am missing them and the house seems very quiet and empty. Two of them are hopefully going into the show ring so I should be able to keep in touch with them and so far have had some lovely photos of them in their new homes.
