We have now moved the pups into the living room so they can become used to everyday sounds like the tv phone and the hoover (not too often) they are loving their food and are gradually getting used to life without mum

The pups are growing well and are now up on their feet albeit rather shaky and their eyes are now open so they are beginning to play. They are also finding their voices and are becoming real time wasters as they are fascinating to watch.

After a slightly worrying few days things are now well on track. Poor Polly picked up an infection and the antibiotics, although they did a good job made her feel rough and affected her milk supply. Today she has plenty of milk and is more than happy to feed her growing brood so life is much more relaxed.

At last the puppies have arrived. The first one, a liver/white girl arrived at 7.50pm and the following girl and 6 boys arrived at regular intervals the last one, sadly a stillborn girl, arriving at 11.30pm. She was great and gave me no worries.
